Today, over 1 million youth are bullied because of how they look, pray, live or show up in the world. They are bullied because they are different. At Get In The Game, we work every single day to celebrate the differences, find common ground and empower the youth of tomorrow to break the systemic actions.
This Giving Tuesday, November 29, please help us reach our 2022 goal of $40,000 so we can continue our work to unite and inspire the next generation of thoughtful citizens.
In addition to helping impact more GameChangers in 2023 and expanding our operations, we are very excited to announce that 10% of all donations above $250 will go directly to a scholarship fund that will be given to an outstanding GameChanger in the Spring. But that’s not all - as a thank you, all supporters who give $100 or more will receive a Get In the Game beanie for the holidays.
The past year was momentous thanks, in part, to our many friends and donors who chose kindness last Giving Tuesday. We were able to accomplish so much.
We became a founding member of the ESPN, ABC, and Walton Family Foundation’s anti-bullying initiative, The Choose Kindness Project, along with other amazing organizations such as the NAACP, GLAAD, the ADL.
We hosted three KEDD Showcase events where we witnessed over a dozen game-changing ideas on how to transform communities.
We kicked-off a partnership with our first school district, Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools, which has helped us to now reach over 500 GameChangers and counting.
Imagine the impact we can create with the support of someone like you.
MATCHING CHALLENGE
A Get In the Game board member has generously issued a Giving Tuesday matching challenge. If we raise $10,000 by the end of the day, he will donate an additional $10,000, multiplying the impact that your gift will have on our GameChangers!
And be sure to check out all of the amazing donors who are making this Giving Tuesday our most impactful yet! Thank you so much for all of your generosity and support. Without you, we would not be able to continue this work of bringing youth together, and inspiring them to create change in the world.
