Amanda Antico

Why I Got In the Game:

“As a mom, I am in awe of how young people across America are in the process of shaping a tomorrow that is more forgiving than the one they are living through right now. Get In the Game is inspiring to me because with a slight “nudge” our work will empower these kids to think more deeply and take meaningful and relevant positive actions to build kinder communities.”

Amanda serves as Founding Board Member and Chief Program Officer of Get in the Game. Drawing upon her 25+ year career and vast experience as an organizational development strategist and consultant, Amanda is always seeking mission aligned partners for her work in the social sphere – especially in education.

In the past decade, Amanda has founded, co-founded, and led multiple social-impact-focused organizations, including two public benefit corporations (PBCs). She has a deep, abiding confidence in what will happen when young talent joins forces with innovative economic enterprises to drive societal change. It is magic. She is a master teacher, mentor, and consultant, having helped thousands of individuals and dozens of companies aspire to achieve their best selves and pursue their goals with discipline and purpose. Amanda teaches at the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania and most recently serves on the Board of The Nationals Youth Baseball Academy in Washington DC and the Leadership Advisory Council at GWU.

Amanda earned her doctorate, in 2010, with an emphasis on social entrepreneurship from The George Washington University in Washington DC. In 2021, Amanda will begin her study toward an LL.M degree from Columbia University in NYC.
